Invalidation Planning Workshop
A focused weekend on the part of pullback trading most traders skip: deciding — in writing — what price action would prove your idea wrong before you enter the trade.
Who should attend
Traders who already take pullback entries but frequently move stops, hold losing trades hoping for recovery, or exit winners early because the invalidation was never clearly defined. Suitable for FX, index, and commodity traders on intraday to daily charts.
Saturday — Defining invalidation
- Structural invalidation: swing breaks, zone violations, and liquidity sweeps
- Time-based invalidation: when a setup expires even if price has not hit the stop
- Exercise: mark invalidation on ten historical pullback charts without seeing the outcome first
Sunday — Applying the plan live
- Group markup of current-market examples (markets chosen by participant vote)
- Case studies where tight invalidation saved capital versus wide stops that masked poor entries
- Personal invalidation checklist to take away and use in the next trading week
What you receive
Workshop workbook (PDF), annotated chart pack from both days, and a 30-minute follow-up chart review within two weeks of the workshop — one trade of your choice.
